Over the years I toyed with the idea of building my own Beach board. So when I got into 3D printing, it seemed like a perfect way to easily make up some parts and see if they could work for this purpose.
I made up new housings and bushings for my retired REVO trucks, light weight wheel hubs, a grab handle and also re-glassed my deck with some carbon fiber and re-shaped it to make it stronger and lighter.
The results- a pretty slick and smooth ride, if I say so myself.
So far the printed parts seem to be holding up to the jumps and power slides a beach board has to handle.
